Tool & Cutter
2009 marks Tool & Cutter Supply's 40th Anniversary!!
The company was established in 1969 by Mr. Paul Franks to supply woodworking shops in the London area. After a few years, the focus of the company changed when it was realized that there was a greater need for suppliers to service the metalworking industry.
By 1985, the company had grown substantially and had expanded into the St. Catharines area. In 1995, the company opened another branch in Woodstock. Since then, Tool & Cutter Supply Co. has continued to grow and now supplies abrasives, machine accessories, cutting tools, and precision measuring tools to more than 600 customers located primarily in Southwestern Ontario. In 2007, the company was acquired by family members Robert & Allison Tisdale.
Our foundation was built by providing extraordinary technical support for our customers in the metal working industry. This strength in technical knowledge is available to assist you in solving your manufacturing problems while reducing your overall costs.
Our extensive inventories are linked together with a state of the art computer system that affords our customers quick delivery of all our products.
The mission of Tool & Cutter Supply Co. is to be the wholesaler/distributor of choice for machine shops having a need for cutting and measuring tools, and to be known for our friendly customer service, timely delivery, quality tools, and outstanding technical support.
Why Tool & Cutter supports 3 on 3?
Hockey needs to be FUN - and we believe that, like the pond hockey of old, the less structured environment of 3on3 hockey allows children to have FUN! It gives them the forum to not only experiment and be creative, but to accelerate their overall skill development and ultimately build confidence. 3 on 3 hockey is an endurance challenge.
Pro Hockey has been advocating this style of hockey for the past 10 years. Additionally, European hockey programs have used this form of hockey as the foundation of their skills programs. 3 on 3 hockey forces players to play with their team-mates. It requires players to move faster, react quicker, pass the puck often and learn how to support the play. In short, it helps teach player creativity while sharpening their instincts. The obvious benefit is that all players, regardless of present ability level, improve skills quickly and improve their knowledge of tactics. And the best thing of all… they are doing this while having FUN!
